Thank you to Anita Razzell (nee Canale), now living at Qualicum Beach, British Columbia, Canada, for sending me this photograph.

Anita wrote:

"Here is my school photo taken at Castle Hill School.  We were the senior class there before heading off to  Secondary school.

This was 1950-51 and our teacher was Miss Mowat.  I am afraid it is one year behind the one requested by Jim Currie.

Here are the names that I remember:

-   BACK ROW:
second from right :  Jim Kay who lived at the Upper Bow.

-   2ND ROW FROM TOP:
two girls standing:  Annie Deans from Kings Stables Road and Hanna Terleska from West Port.

-   3RD ROW FROM TOP: 
second from left, Elizabeth Fisher;
third from left,  Anita Canale (me) from Grassmarket;
last girl seated, Beatrice McClarty.

I went on to Boroughmuir in 1951 and emigrated to Canada in 1953."
