Thank you to Dorothy Addison (nee Jenkins) for sending me the
photograph above of her school drama group, taken during a
performance at the Gateway Theatre in 1952. Most of the girls
in the performance were in class 2B2. |
Dorothy wrote:
Gateway Theatre
"The photo was taken at the Gateway
Theatre in Leith Walk, year in 1952. It was our school drama
group. Most of the girls are from our class 2B2.
I have absolutely no idea what the play
was called. All I remember is that it was a mime. I am
fourth from left, I believe the girl on the floor was stabbed or
something like that."
