of her school class, 2B2, at Portobello Secondary School, taken in
in 1952. |
Dorothy wrote:
Class 2B2
"The
class photo above is of class 2B2 in 1952. The teacher is Miss
McKenzie. She was the math teacher, and a very nice lady.
It was an 'all girls' class. Maybe
the thought was that we would not concentrate if it was boys and
girls.
My favorite thing at school was playing
field hockey, and that's the truth.
I look forward to seeing other photos
from my old school."
