Fireworks at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo  -  1951

Fireworks marked the Closing Ceremony of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 1951.

This photograph by Norward Inglis is what he describes as a composite photograph.  i.e. printed using more than one negative.

Norward explains that the fireworks took place in darkness, not at the same time as the massed bands and floodlit castle.
