Scrap Yard

These photos were all taken in the scrap yard belonging to Asa Wass, Rag Skin and Metal Merchant.

His scrap yard was at 161, 169, 177 Fountainbridge, close to Freer Street and across the road from Mackay's Sweet Works and Boni's ice cream shop at 134 Fountainbridge.. 

Asa Wass and his yard are remembered in many of the Recollections of Fountainbridge.
